June is coming to a close. We have cleaned the house and left Ginger with our dog trainer and professional house sitters. Monica and Warren.
We drove to Pinehurst, seemed to take longer. Stopped at Duke's BBQ Buffet restaurant which we will never go there again.
Checked in to our tree house and enjoyed the lake views. Drove to the Whispering Pines Golf Course, then Fresh Market for food. We like the tree house, just a bit too small with one bedroom. AA is sleeping on an air mattress in the living room. A selfie when we first arrived:
Practice round on Friday:
Fourth Hole:
Driving range:
The Whispering Pines Clubhouse:
Pinehurst Resort Clubhouse - looking at registration and tee time information:
And ice cream in Pinehurst Village where we met a family from Anchorage, Alaska: Kaitlyn Richards is in the North-South Tournament.
I made spaghetti and meat sauce for dinner.
All ready for Round 1 of the Red, White and Blue! Weather is a bit cloudy, which is good! Oops, said the "good" word - we are having a weekend contest on not saying that vague word, must use a more descriptive, stronger word! I am losing so far!!
