With our kitchen being gutted on Monday, February 29th (Leap Day!), we set up a temporary food prep area in our garage with the old refrigerator. Carolyn's freezer is our counter top along with a buffet that has our small appliances on it: coffee pot, electric skillet and microwave. We are getting by so far!
The next two photos show the old foundation from the original carriage house. It created a change for our cabinets, moved the drawer unit to next to the stove, with an open cabinet going in that corner (with the side wall cut out).

Appliances were delivered on March 2nd from Best Buy. We were pleased with Best Buy (we rarely have ever bought anything from them) and the delivery was perfect.

New farm sink:
For the first 5.5 days, all is going well. Two issues were the old foundation and adding a beam to carry the load over the sink, as we removed one column to open the view into the living room. One and half days was just drywall repairs. This second week will be painting, the remaining cabinets, electrical and hopefully the installation of appliances by Friday.
