Maggie's Herb Farm's annual birthday open house (May 9th), is a great place to stroll around and appreciate all the different plants available to us. Each year, the popsicles are a hit! Last year on May 14th, the family planned it as our Mother's Day get-together. This year, most of us will head to the beach for the meet-up tomorrow.

We ran into co-worker Tammy Hatfield and family; so had a quick visit before we checked out with our purchases of parsley, basil, thyme, oregano, peppers and tomatoes :

After leaving Maggie's, we took a look at the renovations going on at the micro-brewery we visited exactly a year ago with friends Kenny and Pam. It looks like it is not ready to open; the sign is the original and in bad shape.
That wrapped up our day-before-Mother's Day!
