We tried a new pizza/Italian/American restaurant, Pele's, and really enjoyed ourselves. It is located on the corner of King Street and Park.
Menu had a good variety, not just pizzas, plus beer and wine selections. The wine by the glass was not enough for us to choose from, I think only three different reds by the glass and a bit over priced.
The wood fire brick oven in view of the customers:
Our lunch was yummy:
Customers can see right into the kitchen where fresh bread is baked too:
Looking from the back to the store front, lots of seating for large parties, plus individual seating at the window or bar:
Since we came late, the place was busy but by the time we left, the business lunch crowd had left. Here's a row of booths that have great window views:
Overall, the food was fresh, service was fast, just didn't like the pricing of the beverages. Maybe they will start some happy hour prices in the future. Try it!
