It was a chilly day so dressed AA in long sleeve shirt (from Aunt Mia and Uncle Mike) and cotton tights. All PINK. Lots of PINK!
Check out all the great Black and White photos here.
With our new lens on the Nikon D40x, I am getting some shadows, only some of the time, so not sure what I am doing wrong. Anyone know?
It is getting close to Thanksgiving, so have many thoughts of thankfulness. Being thankful for all my family and the wonderful blessing to all of us. Thankful for AA!
Happy week!

She is just beautiful! What a doll! : )
I think you might be getting a shadow in the first picture because your hand is in front of the flash.
Just a smidge in front and then it will make a shadow like that. What a pain, right? Wishing you and your beautiful girl a very happy Wednesday! Congratulations on your new camera. I am SO happy for you!
So pretty in pink! We've been wearing long sleeve for some time around here. We've had some snow, even though it didn't stay, and these days we need snowsuits, hats and gloves to stay warm.

It may be your lens getting in the way of your flash. Mine (D90, 18-105mm)does that when the zoom is out. I try to either accommodate it by cropping later or getting closer so I don't have to use the zoom. Which lens did you get? I'm using the flash built into the camera, an external flash would take this problem out of the picture. (Sorry for the pun) :-)
She is beautiful!
Great last shot!

Lovely, as always. Even with a slight shadow - it just doesn't matter with your girl.
I got an external speedlight because I find the internal falsh on my D300 way too weak. Never use it.
Enjoy the cool weather.
=)
so cute especially in black and white
How sweet! The b&w looks really great, too!
What a beauty! I agree something is blocking the flash.
Love that black and white!! Hope you guys enjoy the cool weather! We got some headed our way in a few days, it's been in the high 70's here and it does not feel like November at all!!
She really is darling!
Thanks for visiting me. I too like those kind of sandwhiches with the chicken, grapes, and walnuts. Another como I like is chicken, slivered almonds, celery, and a dash of curry. So tasty!
She is so beautiful.....and growing up right before our eyes!!
Yes, we all have SO MUCH to be thankful for, don't we?
Many blessings to you and your family this holiday season.
xoxo,
Lisa
