Alyzabeth with New Doll House

Thank you to the Martinko's!

Friends at our church gave us their daughter's Fisher-Price doll house. It is amazing; how large it is, all the accessories, it plays music and the dolls talk when in different rooms.
AA loves it and rearranges the rooms all the time, including adding her doll house items to our decor.

In Memory:
A candle will be lit today. Today is my Dad's birthday; he would have been 78 years young. He never met Alyzabeth, she was his 6th grandchild.
He survived colon cancer, then could not fight back from the kidney cancer that came 9 years later. Thinking of my Mom who is amazingly strong and my Dad today.

I love your candle idea. I'm going to pass this idea along to the husband and also Ring. Sorry for your loss - I know how difficult it is to know that he never got to meet his grandchild. That was one of the things that made this long wait and my FIL's passing so difficult for the husband.

first - aren't hand-me-down toys great?! I can see that AA thinks so. :)

second - I'm so sorry for your sadness today. I'll be thinking of you all day.

I love the candle idea also. My dad died 8 years ago and the day is still so sad for me. Been visiting but not able to comment on many blogs because I've been on my mobile - wanted to wish you a belated Merry Christmas and all the best for 09'
AA looks awesome - what a beautiful girl.

How beautiful to light that candle in memory of your father.

It is wonderful to see AA playing with that dollhouse because I have the very one awaiting my girl. My parents bought it for her for Christmas 2007!

I am thinking of you and your mom today. Happy Birthday Dad!!! If he were still here and I had the privilege of speaking to him, I would tell him how wonderful you both are and how much I have grown to love you by just knowing you online. That says mountains for the type of man he was and how he raised his children.

Love and blessings, Kristy

Every little girl should have a grandpa. And every parent the chance to meet their grandchildren in a perfect world...

What a great gift for AA. She looks like she is really enjoying her new doll house.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I lost mine a year ago and know how hard it is to lose your dad. Birthdays and holidays are very difficult. My thoughts are with you.

What a fun doll house! My dad actually made me a huge doll house when I was little (he was a carpenter) and I remember loving it tremendously. Have fun Alyzabeth!

AA is a beautiful little girl and she is growing so much, amazing what family can do.

I am sorry about the loss of your dad. I lost mine 8 years ago and my mom 3 years ago this month. Not a day goes by that I dont think of them. Your candle idea is great, I've never done anything like that. I have been taught many lessons sense I lost both of them. Anyway, my thoughts are w/ your family today.

What joy on AA's face it is so great to see. The doll house looks like hours of fun..

I lost my father on September 11th 2005 to cancer and every year I do the same thing. I light a candle and have a moment during the day of remembrance of him and how much I miss him...

Hugs
