I love Jane Austen. I will have to keep my eyes open for this. I have been so out of it lately, but I'm getting my groove back.
Saw it - enjoyed it. I still think Anne is a bit too pretty for playing Jane Austen.
BUT - I have SUCH the crush on James - super in this, super in Atonement!
And, yes, I have the ENTIRE collection of Jane Austen. Our book club in North Hampton (Fern Bch) even did NORTHANGER ABBEY last year :)

I really liked this movee. So did Jesse, even though he was convinced it would be a "chick flick". I am a huge fan of James Macevoy. He made this movie for me. Good acting all around. You should rent this Aly. I know how you and Dad are though. Maybe you can watch it sometime in 2013:)Love you-

I'm a crazy Jane Austen fan(atic). . . I read her books, watch the films based on her books and still listen to her books on my iPod....
Pride and Prejudice is my ALL TIME fav movie. (as I'm sure I've mentioned SEVERAL times before!!!) I, too, was Lizzy in the quiz! what an honour!
I really like Becoming Jane. I've heard a huge handful of "poetic licence" was used... still liked it though!
I also liked "Miss Potter" - I think it's interesting that these 2 women (Jane Austen & Beatrix Potter) were women WAY before their time, incredibly tenacious and clever ladies - and neither married, or had children.
