I almost cried when I read this on 3 Peanuts:
"For finding your mother, there's one certain test. You must look for the creature who loves you the best."
From "Little Miss Spider" by David Kirk
(I have much to learn in order to respond to Alyzabeth's future questions; this will be a great message!)
More on Little Miss Spider:
After some research I found these down-loadable coloring sheets.
There is a short film made from this book with Susan Sarandon narrating.
What about throwing a themed birthday party based on this book? AmazingMoms has all the planning, crafts, decorating and ideas to just having fun (another great place to find fun ideas and information is at Kaboose).

Kerri loves the Miss Spider TV show. Since they adopted other buggies that are not spiders, it makes it very simple to talk about adoption with her.
Happy Birthday A! I hope you had a fabulous day.
What a nice tribute from your Ford!

B loves the "Miss Spider and her Sunny Patch Friends Bugs" show on Noggin. Yep, when he says the title it really is a mouthful.
