The "tremendously attractive" part is not true, but I do love this character better than any other so I probably answered the questions more in line with the Pride & Prejudice story line. Oh well.........(Lizzy is also the name of my future daughter!!!). Also, with the new PBS show presented by Masterpiece beginning January 13, 2008, thought all you Austen fans would like a reminder to watch it!

Yes, Alyson plans to call Alyzabeth An "Lizzy" for short, after a Great Grandmother. I plan to call her Alyzabeth or Alyzabeth An with the occasional "Lizzy" slip... :)
Set your DVR for Masterpiece Theater on PBS this month. They are doing all Jane Austen - six of her stories. I think two or three of them are new productions, too.

Just wanted to stop in and say hope you had a great New Year's - Happy 2008. Bring on those referrals huh? I've read so much about the "rumor" of the cut-off being 12/19, I don't want to believe it - but I may have to. Sad to think, but...no choice in the matter right?!
I too love Pride and Prejudice. Though I cannot say I have read the book (which would probably be a good idea) I do so love Elizabeth Bennet's character!

I am an English Lit Major, so I love the classics. I love to read them and watch them on television.
Oh YAY! I am Elizabeth Bennet too!!! She is my ABSOLUTE favourite!!! Maybe that's coz she is like me?!!! I so wish I lived in that era. Todd wishes he lived in the cowboy era?!!! LOL!!! I think that's funny - I like things "proper" and he likes the "unruly"!!
