The CCAA has finished the placement of children for the families whose adoption application documents were registered with our office before December 19, 2005.
Congratulations to all the new families and we sincerely mean that.
To those of you still in "The Wait", find your strength to hold on to your dream and continue to Imagine what your future will bring...

Ford, it's getting harder and harder to find that strength, let alone hold on to it!
What a crappy New Year's gift for waiting families...I could have thought of something much better. Maybe a 14 day referral batch. Come on CCAA, throw us a bone!

Can you say "that's the pits!" Nothing like getting socked in the gut! And to those with our agency, they had lid's the 20th & 22nd and each of these families who were hopefully waiting for word, how disappointing for all of them.

I'm still hanging in there because I read somewhere that the CCAA said that two week batches would begin at the beginning of the year. I have big hopes on seeing 2 weeks next month. If that crashes, then it will hit me like a punch to the stomach.
