Beautiful December Day!!

It was an absolutely gorgeous day - Sunday, December 2nd.
We took a Sunday "drive" in the boat on the St. Johns River (after putting the Christmas tree in the stand, going to church, then hitting Target for a few gifts).

Here's a few pictures of Black Creek. We saw several birds sunning themselves and many turtles.

The "clumps" of bright greenery in the trees is wild mistletoe. Yep, you can have all the free mistletoe you want if you can climb the trees!!

Look at that sunshine! It is dark and overcast here every day now. That's winter in Michigan for you. Oh, and our lake is half frozen too. Nothing like the beauty you guys are seeing : ) Tell Ford hello!

I was out on St Johns River not that long ago... you know it is one of the only river in the world(there is another but can't think of it right now) that flows North... we go out on an airboat every now and again... fun, fun, fun...
