We woke up early and was on the road by 6:45 a.m. EST. Drove to Panama City (game was postponed one day due to snow). Arrived and met up with Bill and Joan. Attended the Gulf Coast basketball game. Hannah is due to deliver baby boy soon. We saw snow, remaining from storm a few days ago.
We visited with Bill and Joan; lunch at Panarea Bread (Joan had a tender stomach as she thought she had food poisoning the night before from a piece of Key Lime pie). We did not get the upgrade room that was told we had (Room 201) so settled for a "suite" in 202. Beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico (not Trump's Executive Order to rename it Gulf of America!).
We missed watching the two NFL playoff games, division championships; Eagles won and Kansas City won (we did catch the end of that game against the Bills).
Back at the room, large balcony, room 202.
We could not check in until after the game. Nice hotel/resort. Valet parking. Few drinks for happy hour and free breakfast. Right across the street from the beach and pier, next to all the touristy shops and restaurants.
