I had a good night sleeping, although a bit short as we went to bed very late (after visiting with Mia last night). I receive several e-cards from UMO Alumni, our financial advisors - Trustwell (Tanner, Bret and Bradley) - I used to get one from Joy (and a card in the mail) - first year where we went without her smiling, happy person. Ford greeted me and made my coffee (he does that most mornings anyways). I have flowers from Mom and an edible chocolate covered fruit tray. Leaa gave me a gift last night at Dylan's play. Ford and AA have some wrapped packages on our table - plus we have dinner plans with Carolyn tonight! It's always a good day, with this one especially happy. AA has a ton of homework to do so she has been stressed/busy as too many distractions this weekend, taking away her free time to study. There was gifts on the high top table ready for opening later. I got ready and went to church sat with Steve Hayes. After church at home we had a late lunch what everybody wanted which was just some leftovers, macaroni and cheese. I had some Panera tomato soup for at some cheese and crackers. We didn’t want to fill up and have a big lunch considering we’re going out to the cheesecake factory at 4 PM.
Chris Stone called with a messenger video chat - with Andrew, Terri, Melissa and Mom all there. They had just finished cutting down trees and raking. Amazing and thankful for these two guys plus TC and Mel for doing the work. They also celebrated Terri's birthday with Italian sandwiches and cupcakes.
We left for the cheesecake factory with items Alex wanted from Larry‘s house like the pitchfork, some garden tools, the red plastic gas tanks, and Carolyn had picked out a couple brown bowls which we brought. We also brought some glasses that matched ones Carolyn took last week. They are like teal green juice glasses. We gave Carolyn a little gift of a variety pack of granola serving snack packs and her birthday cards. The dinner was great with Kayla, Carolyn, Alex, Ford, Alyzabeth, and I the six of us. We had never been and was surprised that it was absolutely mobbed crowded. Even with a crowd we had good service brought our drinks. I had their sangria which is actually very unsweet and only 150 cal. Our dinners were quite the variety Kayla had pasta carbonara with grilled chicken on it. Carolyn had a salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Alex had the hamburger that was large with fried onions on it and a side of french fries Ford had the chicken with cashews and rice Alyzabeth had bang bang, shrimp and chicken and I had the chicken piccata. We had two appetizers Alyzabeth I ordered the Aji tuna nachos, which were delicious and Alex and Carolyn shared the pretzel ball appetizer with melted cheese dip. Our food was very good and we enjoyed a piece of cheesecake at the end. I got a free one through the rewards program I signed up for and picked the lemon raspberry and Carolyn picked the mango Keylime and Kayla had the chocolate and cherry cheesecake. we all sampled as all delicious. Very nice presentation.
After we put the belongings from Larry‘s house in Carolyn‘s car, we drove home. Once home, Ford got out my birthday cake, but since we were also full and already had dessert, we decided to have that tomorrow night. I opened my gifts, which was a cooler bag from Leaa and Jesse, a Maine box of goodies from Terri. Alyzabeth gave me dangle pearl gold earrings, and Ford gave me four sleeping short set some with matching tops.
My mom, of course already had delivered the edible, chocolate covered fruit tray, and beautiful flowers from Park Avenue florist.
A great birthday, had a good time and now will call Terri and Carolyn tomorrow to wish them their happy birthday.
