January 8th - Back to school. So happy Alyzabeth is driving herself to school. She does have to wait in the parking lot after school as it is a major traffic jam. Before, she would walk to the street and we picked her up.
Winter Storm Finn was announced as a severe storm heading our way, schools were cancelled for Tuesday.
Tuesday, 9th: No school! I worked for a few hours, the went to Publix early and did a little cleaning (laundry, dusting, AA vacuumed, etc..). We made a spaghetti dinner (without onions) ready so when I arrived home with Terri, all would be ready. With the storm blasting through, the worst was between noon and 5 pm. I drove to the airport in driving rain, but was almost clear on our drive home, about 7:00 p.m. We had spaghetti for dinner and chatted, we started watching the Finding Your Roots" episode, but I was too sleepy.

At the airport:
Terri arrived for her four week visit (to work very hard at Larry's home!).
Wednesday: Woke up, Ford took Ginger out for her morning "pee", made AA's breakfast of muffin, bacon, cantaloupe and made her lunch of soup, cherry tomatoes and a small roast beef sandwich (leftover from our lunch yesterday). Terri got up too - said she slept all night, I did too (Ford did not, he had many anxiety attacks last night that prevented him from laying down - so slept in his living room chair). Between his tremors not going away, his knotted up back muscles, not sleeping well, hopefully Dr. Legacy will have some solutions.
Took LB's Subaru to the car wash, it look better but will need detailing. Alyzabeth and I went to the FIHS Golf Team season award banquet at the FIHS (separate post). (food catered by Grub Brothers). Coach Nedrich did a fine job, even had AA up with the team, said about how she set the bar for the team even though she didn't play, all practiced more and stepped up, placed 6th at States (Boys won States).

Thursday (11th): Dropped off LB's Subaru at Suburban, Terri and I drove to LB's home. I met with Tree Tech at LB's home, getting quote. Golf cart was picked up for repairs.
Ford's eye appointment with Dr. P., unfortunately, he was feeling sick, so left the doctor's office, will need to reschedule.
Friday: Morning routine, with AA getting ready for school, Terri has been getting up early with us. Carolyn came over to LB's home.

Picked up LB's Subaru, replaced driver side window motor, plus checks on fluids, rotated tires and oil change. Larry had done some major maintenance in late 2021 so the car is in good shape.
Saturday (13th): Happy Hour at River House, I made spinach dip. Kathy was under the weather so just Hugh and Maureen.

Sunday: We finally got back our NBC channel through AT&T U-Verse. So we were able to watch all football playoff games today (one was postponed due to severe weather until Monday). I made red beans and rice, which Terri was not a fan of (she prefers creamy soups and sausage/kiebasa type is not what she likes either).
