09/06/2023 I arrived home Wednesday, on time, 7:40 p.m.; drove home and was greeted by AA and Ford. Lots of hugs, seemed like I was gone for weeks! Ginger did her crazy dance and we all busied ourselves with evening activities, AA still doing homework, studying for a calculus and psychology tests. I unpacked, showered and we settled down and watched a recording of the new Bargain Block while AA finished studying.
09/07/23 Thursday: Justin's 51st BIRTHDAY! Wow, can't believe he is past 50 now. I did laundry, worked for a few hours. We took the Subaru to Suburban for the tire replacement; then Nancy drove Ford to the Parkinson exercises (I was going to drive them but she insisted). AA went to watch the Girls Golf Team. Kalia and Cambree:
Ford blackened salmon, with mushrooms, onions and broccolini for dinner.
Friday: Working, trying to catch up. Grocery shopped. Made homemade pizza for dinner with mushrooms, onion and peppers. I baked apple crisp with intentions of giving some to neighbor Nanay and to LB - never did get it to them :(.
Dick flew back to California and all will be back to normal for Terri, unfortunately our hearts are changed, our frustration at the situation and not figuring a way to help Dick. Very sad situation.
Planned and sent out invites (through Facebook and email to only family) for our 10/08/23 family gathering in St. Augustine. We will have a toast to Nana Joy while we are all together.
Saturday: AA's knee is sore, been quiet so do not know what caused it. AA and I went to see Liv's Play, Boeing, Boeing. Very funny play, three flight attendants engaged to the same man in Paris.
Sunday: AA and I went to church, volunteered for the Saturday (16th) kitchen duty in Middleburg.
Jaguar season opener game! Ford and I went to Culture Collective for a beer during the 4th quarter, nerve-wracking game, but a WIN!
Ready for School/Monday morning!
