Ben Dean Morgan passed this morning, Bill received the call that the time was close and picked up Ford. Bill knew Ben had passed once he was in the room, time was probably close to 10:00 a.m. Bill had to leave, compose himself; he had been Ben's daily companion and caretaker for several years.
Luke arrived, and with Bill's help, moved Ben outside to the hearse, transported Ben to the Funeral Home (Advance, MO).
We were going to visit Lester, but have postponed to another day.
We notified Mia, Joy, Leaa and Justin along with my Maine family, spoke to my Mom (Terri, Dick and Melissa were all with her). Justin called and spoke to Ford.
Ford arrived back at the room, had a short rest, we ate leftover pizza from Pagliai's for lunch. Bill texted for us to come to his home, Kaci was there, discussing funeral and obituary plans.
We called cousin Beth, had a nice catch-up chat, it has been a long time since we have called.
We went to Culver's for dinner, nice burgers, fries and cole slaw. Reached 100 degrees today!
Chatted with Leaa at the end of the day, Liv is having an issue with one socket/removed wisdom tooth, now on an antibiotic.
AA's leg is sore, she is putting 100% weight on the leg, may be too much, icing her knee each night.
Hoping we all get some rest tonight!
