Monday: Ford went to his Parkinson's exercises. I worked and ran to the Hallmark store. I made pumpkin muffins, supposedly more healthy - I did add dried cranberries (separate post for recipe).
PT at 3:00 p.m. then shopping for a dress at Dillard's - we found one style dress and bought two - a black one (she wore on May 10th) and a royal blue one. Leftover fish for dinner and macaroni and cheese.
Tuesday: I did my routine, taking AA to school (she called me a hot potato the way I jumped out of the truck and got her things together when David R. arrived!!). Ford and I went to Spring Coffee Shop while Donna cleaned our home, then to the library and Publix.
Once I picked up AA and we all were hungry from no/little lunch, I bought three large smoothies (half of each frozen for a later snack).
River House happy hour was fine, popcorn and my cheddar cheese and crackers (it was hot on the deck, in mid-80's - summer is almost here!). Dinner was leftover chicken and macaroni and cheese with a salad kit. After a shower, we were all ready for bed!
AA received her score for Grade 10 FAST ELA Reading, a 401 of 412 - almost perfect!
Wednesday: AA had her year end chemistry test. Caley Spearman, Noah Witt and David Rafalski meet up most mornings.
Dinner was light as we needed to be at the Clay County Athletics Award Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. (began at 7:00 p.m.). Separate post on the award show. After the show (we left early), enjoyed watching Hamilton again!
Thursday: Ford went to lunch and the movie John Wickman Ch. 4 with Hugh O'Connell, Ford said it was so violent, blasting music - killing constantly!
I worked/meeting today:
AA had PT at 3:00 p.m., I walked some and spoke to Mom on phone, she's having issues with selling the back property, sad that we don't know how it will all be straightened out.
We met Penny at Talon's for dinner, chatted about golf, AA's progress and that she leaves for her trip to Wales next week.
Friday: I worked, then off to Suburban to ask about repairing the old Ford 150 truck (Justin has it and it died). We ate brunch at Metro Diner then home to Billy mowing and trimming our hedges.Mom sent us a Mother's Day fruit tray - all good!
Dinner was the Mexican food truck at Cultured Collective.
Saturday: I got working early making deviled eggs and blueberry muffins.
Carolyn is away for a long weekend, so we are feeding her cats and rabbit (bunny's name is so long, crazy name!! Cinnamonsugarsprinklessnugglessmudgecreampuff!!!!) until she returns Sunday afternoon.
Deck repair wasn't completed - will have to remove deck board and replace the supporting board/stringer next to the house (he's in the Navy so may be able to get to us by August!).
River House, Kathy is absent as her sons are visiting with her for Mother's Day. We enjoyed our chat with Hugh and Maureen. Beautiful weather, breezy so kept us a bit cooler in the 82 degree weather.
Came home, ate leftovers, AA watched Mulan. We were ready for bed!
Sunday: Happy Mother's Day. I sent my Mom many blueberry food items from Stonewell, she received very early, last week.
We went to Maggie's for plants and then to Ancient City Brewery for a relaxing visit. Separate post.
