Monday, 04/17/23 Beach Time and AA's Surgery

Monday: We went to the St. Augustine lighthouse. Terri and I went up all 200+ steps while Joy enjoyed chatting with one of the volunteers on the ground.

A lady took this photo in wide angle, best one!
Information storyboards on each level of the flight of stairs.
The TOP! The wind about knocked us over!
The light/glass top.

Monday late afternoon, I drove back home to attend Ian's Funeral.
Tuesday: Joy, Terri and I went to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm and Zoo. See separate post. In the evening, we walked the beach and enjoyed our last night.
Wednesday: We enjoyed the last sunrise, checked out of the condo. I left a note with suggested "improvements"!
Joy drove home (she received a call from Shelby that her BIL passed, so she drove to Missouri the next day). Terri and I stopped at Maggie's Herb Farm, we bought many plants, will "garden" on Friday while at home with AA recuperating.
Mom sent Alyzabeth a Fruit Edible Arrangement with chocolate covered pineapples and strawberries - yummy!
Thursday: AA's left knee surgery. While at the Baptist Fleming Island Hospital (brand new), Terri worked on the puzzle and my plants/patio/deck pots. Separate post on photos of AA's surgery.
Friday: Terri did most of the patio gardening and continued working on the puzzle. AA rested on the den couch, she had the "pain pump" so was doing well (her leg is immobilized for a week) and she did homework ALL DAY! Coach Nedrich texted her FIHS elevator pass.
The Bailey's did a quick drop off of a yellow rose plant for AA, so sweet of them!
Liv and Tristen at her Junior prom.
Saturday: Terri and I worked in our yard, I finished spreading the remaining four bags of mulch, Terri raked part of our "ditch", Ford finished it the next day. Separate post on her "gardening!"
Dylan was at the Thrasher Horne again in a dance competition. We made homemade sloppy joe without onions, added home-grown bell peppers and celery - tasted great!
Ford and I went to our regular Happy Hour as Terri volunteered to stay with AA; she really didn't need anyone as she was not to move on the couch, but just in case.
Sunday 4/23/23: Terri and I did a quick trip to Carolyn's home. Chatted by the pool then back home!
