Monday: Ford went to his exercises. I worked then drove to Pat's Nursery to purchase 30 bags of gold/natural mulch. I spread only five bags and was worn out (90 degrees outside!). Only 20 bags fit in the bed of the Honda truck!
I made panzanella sheet pan for dinner (meatless Monday). We continue to watch The Voice singing show.
Tuesday: Ford made homemade spaghetti sauce for dinner. I requested a disc of AA's MRI and picked it up. We went to the River House for Happy Hour. Maureen is failing (heart, lungs, kidneys, dementia) and Hugh had a persistent cough, so prayed for their health, they are very sweet people. We watched the new episode of Finding Your Roots with Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr.
Ginny Stone's obituary:
Mom drove to Terri's then to Chris/Heather's:
Wednesday: I spread the remaining mulch in the yard, pulled weeds and still worked my two hours for APTIM.

Ford vacuumed, grocery shopped and bought us two BBQ Q-salads for lunch. Dinner was homemade mashed potatoes with green beans and a Publix rotisserie chicken. The weather was very cool compared to the past month, enjoyed the breeze. We signed up to take a meal to the Bailey's on 4/10/23.
Thursday: We enjoyed lunch with Cathy and Curt Perry at Sweet Sensations. We caught up on their grown kids (Katie is the Children's Ministry at FIUMC with two kids Henry and Addie; Thomas is a professional rugby player (lost over 100 lbs), works as a Funeral Associate when not playing). We chatted about the split of the UMC and how FIUMC is doing. We plan to go to FIUMC again soon (we were charter members in the mid-1990's).
AA went to Siyan's home after school to work on a school project, we picked her up at 5:00 p.m. Dinner was Tijuana Flats bowls and leftover salad. AA took the night off from homework - no school tomorrow.
Friday: No school (teacher planning day)! Quiet morning, we slept "in" until 6:15 a.m. Clay County Fair is here.
AA drove to Leaa's home on the chance we could meet up with her and take the dogs to the beach - see separate post. She was at the High School and Jesse was giving lessons, so Ginger met Dolly in their backyard, then we went to the beach.
AA drove us to Cultured Collective for a beer - she was bored of course! Just a nice respite for us!
Saturday: I made lemon cupcakes to take to Bailey family, but our visit was changed to Sunday. AA made the lemon frosting (I need to add more lemon flavoring next time - more zest too).
We went to our RH happy hour with just Kathy ((Hugh and Maureen had just arrived home from a Tampa visit). Separate post on Ginny's funeral.
Sunday: Lazy morning, I cooked bacon and AA ate leftover BBQ salad! We visited with Bailey family, Ian was not conscious, irregular breathing laying in his Mom Shannon's arms. All the immediate family was there holding vigil, I am surprised they let us in. David was gracious, giving us hugs, saying we love Ian. Very sad, nothing we could say or do. Short visit as it was time for just the family to be there. Afterward, AA worked on homework and I took a drive to Carolyn's and took her two lemon cupcakes. Alex was there making an Oreo peanut butter cheesecake for CR (said late Valentine's gesture). I picked up Newk's for our lunch and drove home (do not get the shrimp po-bo next time). We are all just being sad, waiting for the news of Ian's passing.
AA met early (4:30 p.m.) with her tutor, Laurie. We had leftover beans and rice and watched Sanditon, Season 3, Episode 3 (and made fun of the story line, hurrying to get everyone's HEA)!
We attended the planned Prayer vigil at Bailey's home at 6:00 p.m. We gathered at the library parking lot and walked to Ian's home. The F3 exercise group (Dad David is involved with) led the prayer, then several OPE teachers spoke and three parents. We stood by the Witts (Noah). At the end, everyone placed a hand on the Bailey's home and said the Lord's prayer. Only little Owen came out of the home to be with the group of about 50 people, I am sure many did not know if its happening (during the gathering, about 7 people left the home and one Grandfather left). Ian was still fighting and breathing. Prayers for Ian and his family.
