From Chris Harris, 04/07/2023
Every year on my mom's birthday I try to do random acts of kinds to remember her by and to honor her giving spirit.
This year Ian wanted to come with me. He always wanted to do for others and that is just one of his amazing characteristics that made him such an amazing young man!
Needless to say there will now be two birthdays I will be honoring from here on out and I can only hope and pray that he and my mom will be connected in heaven as they would hit it off and have a lot in common.
Everyone needs an Ian kind of person in their life to help ground you, to show you that humanity for all of its flaws, still cares, still has sympathy and empathy and that there are still good people in this world.
That is also why it hurts so damn bad when we lose someone like Ian! It isn't just us, but the world, and humanity that lost "one of the good ones!"
Fly high EE and tell my mom I love her and miss her! Love you and will carry you with me always!

Dear Ian,
I do not know where to start when I say that you have had a large impact on my life. Ever since I got to know you in elementary school, I can say that my life is infinitely better with you in it. I remember doing fun experiments with you in Mrs. Rauth’s 5th grade science class. It was awesome to meet someone who shared my enjoyment of Star Wars. Since then, you have been one of my closest friends. Thank you for inviting me to go with you to Galaxy’s Edge, it was an amazing experience that I will never forget. I miss seeing you at school everyday. You are always polite and kind to everyone you meet, and it is such a good feeling to be your friend. I always enjoy seeing and talking to you. I hope others will get to know how brilliant you are as a person and a friend.

Your friend,
Alyzabeth Morgan
