Freedom Schooner Sail Boat April 15th

We enjoyed gorgeous weather, breezy and very warm (80's), perfect for sailing on the Freedom Schooner.
I began the morning with coffee, relaxing in the condo with Terri and Joy. Off to Publix to pick up the platters and back to the condo.
Dressed and ready once Ford and AA arrived, loaded the cooler and drove to the downtown St. Augustine public dock. With a few panic minutes waiting for everyone to arrive, we boarded the boat ten minutes late but made it (needed to be at Bridge of Lions at 1:30 for bridge opening). Beautiful sailing, a few large boat waves, otherwise quite smooth sailing!
We enjoyed unlimited drinks, plus the food for lunch, all went well with conversations, visiting. Glad Carolyn made it with beau Alex along with: Marsha and Carl, Cara, Travis, Pearl and Miles; Leaa, Jesse, Liv and Tristen; Mia and Madison; Justin; Ford, myself, Alyzabeth and Terri; Joy. Missing were Kilee (college), Nicole and Jordan and girls (soccer games).
Back at the condo, we did more visiting, cake and ice cream plus a few gifts: Mom sent a card with birthday money! Mia gave me a necklace with St. Augustine beach sand in it, bought at a shop where a lady works, born in same town as Mia.

The birthday celebration was a success! Now to more beach walks!
