February 6th - 12th

February 6th - Monday: A beautiful day, did some cleaning, reorganized the laundry/mud room; boxed up some old work files, laundry, etc. AA practiced golf at FIGC, not doing too much as her leg hurts anytime she swings a club. Ford made banana pudding, took some to Judy and Bill (neighbors). Cooked a repeat dinner of chicken, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes in a creamy sauce.

7th: Mom's birthday, she was busy with Terri so didn't chat. Tuesday: Donna came and cleaned house, I worked at the library, Ford did the grocery shopping. We enjoyed RH happy hour with Erin too, made/took mango salsa and banana pudding.
8th: Wednesday: I continued working for a few hours, then we went to Goodwill (bought four skirts), then lunch at our "Greek" deli. Spoke to Mom briefly, she was at lunch with Debbie and Jean Emmons, after Wes Ridlon's funeral. AA did homework and Ford made pizza for dinner. I finally sent out a few Valentines Day cards and Chloe's birthday card (plus ordered a custom embroidered pillow for her).
9th: Thursday: I had blood drawn to check if I possibly have Lupus. Ford had his eyes checked. Beautiful weather. I made pumpkin bread muffins for Saturday's Bingo.
I called several grief counselors/therapist as referred by Baptist Pediatrics (long story, from last Fall, understanding feelings due to Ian's diagnoses, the Baptist system had a 13 month wait list, so pressed for more options). Found Hope Haven had an opening so will take AA to her first meeting on Monday with Elan Santiago.
Ford and I went to the River House (AA doing homework), as the weather was gorgeous, back home for salmon in tinfoil packet with garlic and lemon.
Friday: I went to BJ's with Carolyn, stocking up of our bulk items. We went to First Watch for brunch.
At home, continued to work, made deviled eggs for Saturday's happy hour. AA and I shopped at Walmart for Kathryn's school supply donations, for index cards, Valentine's candy for the grands and I bought a new water hose wand.
Our ponderosa lemon tree is showing signs of life after the hard freezes we had over Christmas:
Saturday: Parkinson's Bingo fund raiser in the morning, I took the pumpkin bread muffins, won two certificates for ice cream at Jeremiah's. Ford didn't go, wasn't feeling that great, with headache.
AA played with Stephanie at San Jose from 2:00 p.m. - 4 p.m. RH happy Hour.
Sunday: AA and I made the popcorn with white chocolate to give away, always a tasty treat (gave some to neighbors Bill and Judy, Marsha/Carl, Nicole and Leaa)! Super Bowl! Made nachos and watched the Chiefs win!
And checking out AA's "brown" hair!
