The Clay County Athletes were honored and celebrated with a loud, fun ceremony Wednesday evening at the Thrasher-Horne Center (SJRSC).
This event had volunteer Emcee's and several sponsors that made this a free event for the athletes and parents. The Jacksonville D-Band and Jaxson de Ville mascot was there along with all seven high school mascots. The doors opened at 6 pm, at 6:20 a 25 minute video ran showcasing each high school's sports event throughout the year. Cheerleaders opened the show with introductions of the VIP guests (school board members, principals, etc.).
