Monday: I worked a few hours, lazy morning otherwise.
AA played golf holes at 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday: Donna came to clean our home, this is her last time here as she will take off several months after her surgery. We ran errands and ate lunch at Hawkers, a treat!
We went to our regular River House happy hour, but Hugh and Maureen were isolating before their trip to Tampa and Kathy's son just left so she was resting (so did not see her on her birthday).
Wednesday: AA played in the NFJG Yards (separate post on that).
Thursday: We did not go visit Andrew, Britney and Chloe, due to them leaving for the airport at noon. We drove to Okeechobee, stopping in Fellsmere. Ginger was a good dog in the car.
Fellsmere's trailhead welcome center. Not much there, a playground, one picnic table and biking paths.
Women's Suffrage: Fellsmere was the first place south of the Mason-Dixon line to allow women to vote in a municipal 5 years before the 19th Amendment/national law.
Friday: In Okeechobee, we swam in the nice heated pool, bought salmon for dinner (Ford cooked), tried fishing off the dock, no luck. Joy "smucked" us in Monopoly!!

Saturday: Happy New Year 2022! Drove home after having a big breakfast at Joy's. Ford drove straight thru (took Route 1 after picking up lunch at the Pig Stand, so drove through Palatka).
We arrived home, unpacked, started the laundry, ate our Pig Stand lunch (at 2:30 p.m.). I finished the book I was reading, Spoonhandle by Ruth Moore.
Terri hosted Christmas today, on January 1st (between busy Christmas with kids and some being sick), they gathered and opened presents.
Sunday: January 1st!! Lazy day. AA played golf with Coach Bryan, Jenna and Kalia. We started packing up Christmas decorations, watched football (Jaguars lost) did all our laundry, cleaned out a few dresser drawers (have to start throwing out the old clutter!) walked Ginger, getting back into our routine. I also picked up two donated bikes to give to OPUMC men's group. Beautiful weather - almost 80 degrees!
End of the week, month and year! Happy 2022!
