Monday: I worked at home (same story everyday!), plus grocery shopped. New easy appetizer for happy hour at the River House, mini-peppers "stuffed" with goat and mascarpone cheese, zest of orange and lemon with chives as garnish.
Dinner, left over pot roast plus Ford's rolls.
Front:And the trees have finally decided to drop their leaves!
Tuesday: I worked at home, ran a few errands. AA had her FIHS golf team yearbook photo shoot after school at the Fleming Island Plantation Golf course. The Leonard photographer said the photos will be for sale, hope there are some good ones. Afterwards, AA and Kalia practiced at EH. We ordered some sandwiches from the FIGC Irish Pub for lunches tomorrow.
Wednesday: I got my COVID booster shot! AA volunteered with the kiddies golf group lesson. Bruschetta for dinner.
Thursday: AA had her algebra tutor to prepare for a test tomorrow. I did not sleep well, my arm ached, could hardly move my entire arm, I couldn't sleep on that side so had a restless night, but amazingly all was fine by noon! I worked most of the morning and walked Ginger. We cooked sausage with roasted vegetables.
Friday: AA scored a 100 on her Algebra test (most points 110)! We did errands to buy gift cards; went to credit union to get my Christmas spending money! We had an okay brunch at Metro Diner, some of our favorites are not on the menu anymore, slimmed down menu.
AA practiced at Eagle Harbor; Ford and I walked over. His leg (pulled muscle from movie day with Hugh, a week ago) is healing so back to getting him to walk more.
Plus, Mom's Christmas gift to us came in the mail - North Star orchard's apples, apple jams, cheese, maple syrup and ten apples!
Saturday AA and Ford are at the NFJG Slammer and Squire (separate post). I made chili in the crock pot, wrapped gifts for Maine and made a new appetizer for the River House: Pioneer Woman's toasted baguette with fig jam and blue cheese. Everyone loved it! Kathy brought cream cheese and pepper jelly (Stonewall's Spicy Bacon Pepper Jam) which was delicious too!
Sunday, Ford made it to Kilee's Elf play. Most of the family was there, all said she was wonderful, the best dancer.
