Last Week of September

Monday: We accomplished a lot with grocery shopping, made sausage balls, laundry, dishes, stripped both beds, library, walking Ginger (she vomited this morning, was hoping she was back to normal after her last Friday dental surgery). Ford smoked a rack of ribs for dinner and will have green beans with it. And I worked at least four hours at home. AA went to her golf team practice, then to the Eagle Harbor course. We went to the River House with sausage balls for Happy Hour. It was nice weather, still hot in the sun but much cooler in the mornings and in the shade.
Tuesday, worked at APTIM office, then was planning to go to the Coal Terminal but didn't work out. AA had an away golf match (separate post). Leaa's birthday which we met up last Saturday, and Ford gave her a call.
Wednesday: Charlotte's birthday which was tough on Larry. We decided not to contact him, so will later this week. Larry emailed saying her grave marker was placed and he visited her with a gift of flowers.
Thursday: I am now working at the SJRCT Service building. AA played in the FIHS Girls Golf Team match at home, Senior night. Jenna was honored with accepting a college offer, so she is all set for her continuing education and will play on their golf team! (separate post with photos).
Friday: Working at home and had a ladies group golf team lesson. Hopefully, I will commit and go every Friday. AA brought home her Freshman School photo:
Saturday, Ford and AA drove to Jupiter FL for the Drive, Chip and Putt contest. She did not place 1st as needed to g to the Masters (she did not play well - 11th of 12 girls). It's still great she made it to the Regional, and she always tries, so glad she keeps playing!
While they were away, I cleaned one corner of the garage, grocery shopped and made olive tapenade (olives, capers, parsley, lemon, garlic, etc.) for the first time (I omitted the 2 anchovy fillets that are in authentic recipes). I took it to the RH happy hour and everyone liked it (I am not keen on it as I have never liked the flavor of olives!).
Sunday: I cooked hamburger for my "Cowboy Beans" I am making on Monday, did laundry, walked Ginger then drove to Carolyn's.
Worked at Carolyn’s - vacuumed house, washed dishes, folded laundry and helped her clear tables. Next will work on her bedroom and bathroom. Carolyn did a lot too, worked most of the same time so we accomplished a lot in two hours (in between "icing" down her broken wrist). Then I drove her to the Jacksonville beach, we put our toes in the ocean, give her a change of scenery - very WINDY! Then lunch outside at the Burrito Gallery, was 2 blocks off the beach. She probably overdid it today, just trying to get her house in order before her wrist surgery.
AA and Ford arrived home, we had a relaxing chat/evening. And the Patriots-Tampa Bay football Sunday Night game - what a huge "big-deal" it was!
