July 5th Week - Leaving for Maine! And NFJG Tournament

Tropical Storm Elsa is nearing us and may put a rain damper on our first day driving to Maine planned for Wednesday morning.
Monday, AA played in Round 1 of the King and Bear NFJG tournament, while I packed, did bed sheets/laundry, walked Ginger, took car to be cleaned, planned dinner and groceries.
River House is closed so no Happy Hour today!

Round 2: AA scored a 79; two tournaments now with both days scores in the 70's. Yahoo!
From Jack's News:
This week the North Florida Junior Players Tour traveled to the World Golf Village to play the King and Bear Golf Course which was co-designed by Arnold Palmer (The King) and Jack Nicklaus (The Bear) for the St. Augustine Junior. 104 players would tee it up this week.
Monday, Round 1: In the Elite Tour Girls division, we would have the low round of the day shot in this division with Angela Jiang firing a spectacular round of 4 under par 68. Her round would include a total of 7 birdies! Right behind Jiang in second place would be Alyzabeth Morgan of Fleming Island, FL, who would tie her career-low round on the North Florida Junior Golf Tour with a round of 1 over par 73. Rounding out the top three is Helena Rios of St. Augustine, FL who shot a 3 over par 75.
In the Elite Tour Girls division, Angela Jiang of Miami, FL would hold on to lead from the first round and take home the title in the Elite Tour Girls division with a two-day total of 5 over par 149. Finishing in second place behind Jiang would be Alyzabeth Morgan of Fleming Island, FL who would fire a two-day total of 8 over par 152. Rounding out the top three in the Elite Tour Girls would be Helena Rios of St. Augustine, FL who would fire a two-day total of 10 over par 154.

With Elsa approaching, we decided to leave Tuesday afternoon. We packed in a rush (forgot our favorite pillows!) and dropped Ginger off at Carolyn's and began our drive north. No rain so far!
Wednesday morning, breakfast at our Walterboro SC Hampton Inn.
We drove to the northside of the Washington, DC beltway and stayed at a Marriott property, TownPlace Suites, College Park, MD. Very nice, with full kitchen. We had take out Italian dinner from Mamma Lucia also in College Park. All good, and relaxing. Nice weather for driving but encountered slow/stopped traffic leading into Washington DC and on the beltway.
We read Dick Blaisdell's latest book:
Thursday morning on the road by 8:00 a.m. Encountered many slow traffic areas and rain. Once we reached the Maine bridge, we drove until we reached camp! Arrived about 8:15 p.m. after getting Amatos Italian sandwiches for dinner.
Terri received the flowers I sent - one month since George passed:
Four Leaf Clovers:
Friday - Rain, heavy rain all day from TS Elsa! Not much to do. AA did her exercises. Normal house duties, being lazy, went to NU Brewery in New Gloucester. Then homemade lobster rolls and haddock chowder from Fisherman's Net for dinner.
After bailing the aluminum boat:
Saturday, enjoying Little Sebago Lake!
