From Jack's recap:
The 3rd leg of the “Race to the Junior Players” started today as the NFJG Tour stops at Jax Beach Golf Club for the Jax Beach Junior Open. The course is in wonderful condition with the greens rolling pure and the fairways plush. The weather was perfect with a little breeze and an overcast sky.
In the Elite Tour Girls division, a regular with the NFJG sits atop of the leaderboard as Alyzabeth Morgan of Fleming Island, FL who shot a 3 over par 74 in today’s round. Morgan’s round included two 2’s on the card as she birdied 2 par 3’s. She will take a one-stroke lead heading into the final round over Nancy Cox of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who shot a 4 over par 75. Rounding out the top three in the Elite Tour Girls division is Ashlan Tresca of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who shot a 5 over par 77.
Round2:
The final round of the Jax Beach Junior Open wrapped up today on the beautiful Jacksonville Beach Golf Club. We almost got everyone in, but mother nature had its own say as our Overall and Rising Tour Boys competitions had to be shortened to 27 holes.

In the Elite Tour Girls division, we had a first-time winner on the North Florida Junior Players tour with Nancy Cox of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL taking the title. She would shoot rounds of 75-74 to win the girls overall and the Elite Tour Girls. Finishing in second place right behind Cox was Alyzabeth Morgan who shot a two-day total of 153. This was Morgan’s 5th top 3 finish on the North Florida Junior Players Tour this year. Rounding out the top 3 was Kenzie Heba who shot a two-round total of 154.
