2021 Goals - A Brief Conversation

I started a conversation about what do we want to do, accomplish in 2021. Besides, seeing family and friends, vaccines for COVID19, AA to do well in school, start 9th grade at Ridgewiew (IB program), be able to travel to Maine, China and Yellowstone National Park..... So many "things" to think of.

First to be thankful we are healthy, be grateful for all that we have, we have never gone without a home, food, funds to buy the extras.

AA needs to ask two teachers for recommendation to enter the IB program in January 2021 (she has submitted request).

AA would like to grow 5 inches in height! She only grew 1/2" in past year. We want her to drive the golf cart more, to learn traffic rules. Ford and I had different childhoods and we were driving boats, skimobiles and other vehicles long before we were 16.

AA needs to join the next Boost class by Mikhal Kornegay, it helped her body in so many wats, agility, strength and energy. Once it is safe to us for her to go back in the gym.....

Chinese New Year has not been a big celebration in our home, we have attended most of the FCFCC events but not much else. It is 2/17/2021 - 02/26/2021 with the first week the "vacation" time, Lantern Festival on last day. How do we connect AA with her country of birth during her teenage years?

AA's golfing goals are to lengthen her putter (completed on 01/09/21) and keep practicing. Between her lessons, and golfing holes at Eagle Harbor, she rarely gets out on other courses unless it is a tournament. What golfing goals will improve her game?

My goal is to continue working, whether a new job or continuing with APTIM. I need to be able to golf in a nine and 18-Hole Adult/Child Tournament with AA by October 2021. I am taking a group lesson on Friday mornings and will soon golf a few holes with AA. At some point I need to play nine holes, which is the best way to learn and get better!

I need to exercise and lose weight. So far I have not been motivated even though my weight is creeping up and my clothes are two small - the ones I can get into are tight! What will get me moving on this goal? A program with structure? Giving up alcohol?

Family goal is to clean out the garage and closets! Isn't that on every family's list?
