Wednesday 11/25/20

Wednesday: The day before Thanksgiving. I was very happy to have the day off, as I baked two pies, made the "do ahead" mashed potatoes and did some chopping, prepared the turkeys and made turkey broth getting ready for gravy tomorrow.

AA and Ford drove to the TPC for her new clubs final fitting. Adjustments were made on her irons 5 and 6 plus her driver.

While they were gone, I baked the pumpkin and cheery berry pies. While I was washing the dishes, close to 1:00 p.m., Terri and I "facetimed" for a few minutes. Maine had a dusting of snow today!

Pies:

Grammie's china, ready for our small dinner party of four:

After a quiet afternoon (played one game of Scrabble with AA), Ford and I walked to Talons and enjoyed the cool weather and a glass of wine (beer for him).
And now we are ready for Thanksgiving. Ford will smoke a 19 pound turkey and I will roast a small 9 pound turkey. Yum!
