Wednesday, the NFJG held a champions back nine holes at the Stadium course at TPC Sawgrass. Since there will be no season celebration banquet due to COVID19, this is the last time to play with NFJG until the new season begins in October 2020. AA earned the Fall Elite Girls Trophy. This was her first year in the toughest, oldest Girls group. She played well, then when she was fitted with new clubs, a restart began, changing some old habits.

With almost a two hour delay (three different lightning delays), she began the first six holes as a team scramble then the three final holes were individual. Exciting that she birdied Hole 17!

Good Morning,
I hope you had fun time at TPC Sawgrass this past Wednesday regardless of the rain. The course puts you in a different mood, doesn’t it? When I’m there, whether I play good or poorly I always have a smile on my face. It’s a special place, no doubt about it!
It was unfortunate that we had two rain delays which resulted in players having to leave and some players not being able to complete their nine holes or have an opportunity to play the final three holes especially the iconic 17th hole.
With that said, instead of just rewarding the top two teams or individuals as was intended I have decided to reward everyone with a $25 discount off their first tournament played during the 2020-2021 season.
Two adjusted teams beat the staff team who shot 19. Team Ha, Mawhinney and Waller shot 17 and team Cox, Jancsik, Rios and Whiting shot 18. Each player will receive a sleeve of Titleist golf balls at a future NFJG TOUR event. Good Job!
