Weekend Including Monday

Several gardening tasks were accomplished over my three day weekend. Ford re-potted four vegetable plants bought for our patio garden. He killed my basil plant (by adding a rooting chemical, thinking it would be fine as a fertilizer) so we took a drive to Maggie’s on Saturday morning. We were the third car there and everyone kept their distance. We were very FAST selecting our plants and zipped out and headed home. I bought a new basil plant and divided into four plants. I bought four zinnias for a pop of color also an oregano plant and Ford bought a pepper plant. Plus the beautiful Florida Lavender plant is on our front lawn.

After, divided:
Still have plenty of free aloe to give away.

This was very exciting to see. No idea what it was made for.
We continue to meal planning much better than we did pre-COVID-19. We ate Ford's homemade pizza Friday, Saturday was chicken salad (Outlaw), then Sunday was spaghetti and meatballs (and leftovers on Monday dinner) and I set up the crock pot for Tuesday's meal of red beans and rice. We have plenty of frozen foods and will continue to patronize a local restaurant once per week (carry out/curb-side).
Sunday, AA coordinated a surprise video chat for Jane Weigand’s 13th birthday. Her Mom, Jill, sent out a message about sending birthday cards as they could not celebrate (AA made a homemade one and mailed it). AA asked Jill if she would help with surprising Jane by having her friends call her at 1 p.m. on Sunday (19th). It went well, except some kids were playing on-line video games while the others were trying to talk, a bit rude. AA on her bed during the call:
Still working on emptying garage boxes, made head way by consolidating many China 2008 items.
Saturday night watched part of the concert "One World - Together at Home" - Rolling Stones:
AA is late for her braces adjustment appointment, need to call and see what needs to be done.
I made biscuits Sunday morning; enjoyed leftover Easter ham with them.
Monday, we did house chores, stripping beds, dishes, laundry, etc. I wrote three thank you notes.
We filled up the car with gas and visited Penny (just driveway waves). A nice weekend with AA and Ford!
