AA continues to play with the Elite Girls group, this tournament, only 5000 yards.

AA scored a 76 (Par was 71), her best score and had the most holes with "Par" of anyone in the entire tournament! (12). She had a double bogey on the first hole, said the greens were faster than the practice greens and the original problem was that she overshot the green entirely. But she settled down during the first nine holes, then the back nine slump was evident by four bogeys. Overall, a pretty good round!

Director Jack's Newsletter: In the Girls 13-18 Division Port Orange’s Tylar Ann Whiting would finally add a Gold Medal to her collection of three Silver Medals as she posted the overall low round of the day at 75. Whiting confident about her play accredited her outstanding play to her recent fine play at state championships where she finished 4th out of 93 contenders. Whiting paired with Fleming Islands Alyzabeth Morgan and Bunnell’s Beatrice Dietz went head to head all day winding up 1, 2, and 3 with scores of 75, 76 and 77 respectively. Now that’s playing some golf on very tough track!
