The Weekend - August 4 - 5 - 6th

Friday: I went to Carolyn's in the morning to get AA as she slept overnight with her Aunti M.

Also, we signed up for ATT internet and TV (from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.). No Friday evening plans so went to the River House.
Saturday: Ford and AA golfed; then we ate lunch at home. I came up with a plan to go to the really neat book store - Chamblin Bookmine, it has been around forever, fun place to browse. I had AA round up books she didn't want anymore to trade in. {didn't take any photos - these are "stock"}
TONS of books in several buildings, miles of books!
Then drove to the microbrewery Engine 15 and relaxed in their beer garden, nice afternoon to relax. Sampled beers and AA drank her usual root beer. Kid and pet friendly with playground, horse shoes, corn hole, picnic tables, an American beer garden. We spent time at Chamblin Bookmine first, trading books. AA was mesmerized by the amount of books, she said "I could live here"!
Impressive place, squished into an old city block: (stock photos):
Melissa was with Carolyn, enjoying their visit immensely! Trips to the beach and many watering holes!
Glad they had a good visit! Melissa left on Sunday, the 6th.
Dinner was going to be homemade, but decided to get salads and a slice of pizza at Moon River, a favorite place for us. Great weekend!
