Friday was like the last day of school but not quite yet - still have to go through next Wednesday (early dismissal at 10:45)! AA had a pizza party in her Friday ES class with Mrs. Farmer (Robotics Club is with Mrs. Rauth). After school, off to a practice round at Hyde Park. It was stopped short with only 13 holes due to the afternoon storms.
Saturday, Isabel and her Mom Laureen came over for some swimming and lunch. I made a new salad of cucumber and pineapple (with cilantro, lime zest and two limes juiced), plus fruit, hot-dogs and Sweet Sensations Outlaw chicken salad. With all the rain/summer thunderstorms predicted, we survived with no rain! The girls swam for hours in between eating, then some video time back at home. Will need to do this again soon!
