We arrived home safe and sound. A HUGE thank you to Jim Read who stayed with Ford while we were gone (he must have had a very boring week!). We could not have made the Worlds without his generous offer to help us with Ford's care.
And we are so proud how well Alyzabeth did in the World's Golf Event. Over the three day tournament with 102 competitors, she scored 121 strokes, 22nd place which put her at the 78% percentile. That is an improvement over last years Top 20 finish that placed her in the 71% percentile. Almost double the number of entrants from past years too!
Her score would have placed her 11th or 16th place in the past two World's. This shows how much more competitive it is for girls in this sport. Below also shows how many Florida kids are in the Top 30 and that Florida kids earned top honors in six of the thirteen age groups! Amazing!
