The last day of school was June 3rd, Friday. We took AA out to lunch; her pick - Tijuana Flats for some good, fresh Mexican food. Alyzabeth had straight A's all four quarters! Plus being the best reader for the entire school is a great achievement. She also made the top of her class for best technology (computers and typing).
In the evening, I made a favorite dinner, Chicken Piccata with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Our neighbor Kaydee came over for a few hours while her parents (Kim and Windy) went out for dinner. It is great having a friend right next door.
Saturday, we cleaned part of the garage, went to RAM and ate lunch at the Moon River Pizza. We did buy some fresh local vegetables and blueberries. Then into the pool with Kaydee, bath time, then to the River House for a glass of wine, popcorn and more time with Kaydee.
With Tropical Storm Colin expected on Sunday through Tuesday, we decided to see a movie on Monday, as it turned out, the worst rain came late Monday night/Tuesday morning.
I visited with Carolyn on Sunday (while Ford and AA were golfing), helping her around her house and then a dip in her huge salt-water pool!
We saw this movie with Kaydee and her two Moms. We rated it about a 3.5 of 5 stars. Loved it but Johnny Depp was too sad through most of the film, not knowing what happened to his family years ago.
