We enjoy the annual drive to Maggie's Herb Farm's "Open House", this year on May 7th (usually the day before Mother's Day). We purchased a few herbs and vegetable plants as we enjoying having a tiny garden. I always try to get a few good photos of Daddy-Daughter.
Goofy time:
Ford cooked fried fish and hush puppies. His hush puppies are now about as good as Nana Joy's (of course he copies her recipe)!
Every once in awhile when we find ourselves near St. Augustine and need a quick lunch, we love getting a Carmelo's Deluxe pizza. Always good!
We visited cousin Carolyn on May 15th (one year ago her Dad passed on this date) and AA jumped in her salt-water pool. Carolyn's house is still under going some renovations but the pool is done!
Ford picked many grapefruit off of son Justin's tree and made grapefruitcello (something like limoncello). It is now ready and we look forward to making different drinks with it; adding champagne, tonic water or just seltzer water. Of course, he likes it very cold and straight!
