Alyzabeth is using a new driver and is gaining distance on her drive and second shots. She is growing and doing her strength exercises, so we can see the improvement. We compare her to the 11 year old she plays with regularly and AA's drives have become much closer to hers. If it wasn't for three putts that were tap-ins, she would have had 16 instead of 19 putts (goal is 18 or less). She put herself into position to par eight of the nine holes from the Ladies red tees, so we see her growth. The conditions have to be talked about as the entire course was rock hard, hard dry greens, dry slopes around the greens; it was difficult to hold the ball. She hit the green many times only to have the ball roll much further than ever expected. Three holes resulted in four extra strokes due to the hard surfaces. Everyone had the same conditions but with AA's new longer distances, just hasn't seen these conditions while hitting longer. Golf has to be the toughest sport!
We played with a Foundation Boy, Quinn K. This was his first NFJG Tournament. He had several great holes for his first competition. Everyone waiting at Hole 9 (Par 3):
Final Hole - Done!

Foundation Boys play from the same tees, it was a tough day for them too:
