Week of September 28th - October 4th (Happy Anniversary to Us! #30)

My past week (Alyson's) was pretty bad. On Monday, I felt a sore throat coming on, but ignored it best I could. On Tuesday at work, I knew I was getting something bad and left work early; then had a glass of wine in the evening thinking maybe I can kill whatever is latching onto me. By Wednesday, I was flat in bed, sick, headache, upset stomach, snotty nose; then by Thursday, the chest cough developed, still in bed, so I went to the Doctor. Yep, I had the latest virus plus a sinus infection. On Friday, I began to move around and ate solid food; but couldn't focus on anything, just was zombie mode around the house. On Saturday, with only a three hour nap, I over did a bit, but definitely on the mend. We didn't have much planned this week, except a Friday dinner visit with daughter #1 and family, which had to be cancelled (plus little Dylan had been sick for the week too).
Thank goodness for Ford holding everything together for the family! He continued his normal routine with AA and managed with me being grumpy whenever I did show my face; mainly to complain how bad I felt.
We did miss celebrating Leaa's birthday, my Mom sold E-E and Papa's camp this week, Linda Reid retired from JEA......
So our only "big" plans was a quiet Sunday at the WEB.COM Golf Championship that was being held at the TPC Sawgrass Dye Course, a quiet anniversary day with AA watching our now favorite sport (yep, displaced football and NASCAR). I was going no matter what (meaning I was feeling better). We enjoyed the fine cooler weather, followed many golfers, felt bad for those who did not get their PGA card and celebrated for those who did. Ford and AA went on Saturday as we bought the multi-day tickets; Ford provided one photo (no cameras were allowed) of AA at the entrance sign (she was wearing her Rain Girl jacket as the forecast was calling for isolated showers all weekend):

I liked a few of the photos so did the original photo then cropped it to see AA's face! The photos below are all from Sunday:
At the practice range, as we were walking to Hole #1; Floridian Derek Fathauer:
Love these of AA:
And the close up:
Arnold Palmer's grandson was playing - Sam Saunders (from CO) and he made the top 25 for his PGA card:
AA standing at the 18th green with the blue WEB.com sign behind her:
Photo below - Ford trying to get her hand in the right spot, holding up the sign in the back that displayed the current scores. We watched Kevin Tway drop from the top 25 and found out alot about the one guy who made it to the 25th spot is 35 years old (Oppenheim from MA) and first time getting his PGA card - talk about perseverence!!
Emiliano Grillo, the Argentina won, so he can play in the TPC in May and has a full year exemption in the PGA. Also, we watched Chez Reavie (from AZ) come in second place by one stroke.
I found this photo on the WEB dot com Championship Facebook page; we are at Hole #1; all three of us turned watching a ball; can you see my blond hair, AA and Ford with his shade hat on (almost to the end of the line of people, we had moved there as too many camera people kept standing in front of us when we were closer to the tee box)?
Now that we are home, Ford is feeling sick...... I am feeling bad for him already! We may plan a date in November or early December to celebrate our anniversary - we did a BIG party in Key West two years ago and renewed our vows, so we are good as far as celebrating our marriage - good for another 30 years!
