We have entered AA in a few of the NFJG Tournaments (last one was March 1st at EH) as there was no Jacksonville U. S. Kids Golf season this past Winter and Spring. AA played in the Spring Orlando Tour and we did not want to continue with their Summer Tour due to the long travel/driving times are so long for her. This one was the Orange Park Open and we enjoyed it as AA played a very good round on the first day (after Hole #1!). The second day was different, and her score went up, a much harder course with TONS of water to carry.
The combined Foundation kids was boys and girls (AA was the only girl) and she came in last place. It is a smoothly run tournament, lots of rule officials near each hole and it gives AA lots of swings, since the yardage is 2500+ for the nine holes.
Saturday, at Fleming Island:
The kids must walk the entire course (U.S. Kids Golf rules allow for carrying them between holes):
The Daddy Caddies!!
Second day, Sunday at OPCC:
Played the front nine (much harder with five of them water near the greens!!) at OPCC - finished on Hole 9!
The winners!
Scores:
Next NFJG Event is at South Hampton and the Chao's will be there, so two more girls!
