This was a new course for us, Panther Lake and very challenging as it had several holes that had "dog legs". Must use a different strategy and not knowing all the hazards, played it safe. And the greens were so rough, had all just been aerated with deep holes, a
rough dimpled effect. The pace of play was so slow that we were out in
the 96 degree heat for an extra 90 minutes! A score of 46 wasn't great, but it was first place. We will take it! Not a pretty round of golf!
