Happy Valentine's Day - You Rule!

My Mom left this morning, flying back to Maine. We had a fun visit without over-doing during her six day visit. She left some Valentine goodies for AA and her "great-Grands". Thank you Mom!

I was actually proactive a few weeks ago and found so many very cool and easy Valentine's Day crafts that it was hard to choose. In the end, we made the "You Rule" craft which takes a little time to type and print the "covers" (card), some cutting and viola! I used card stock but can use construction paper. I printed three per sheet.
The idea can be found here Thompson and Spring.
We made enough for AA's class plus a few others for family. We added each child's name (optional) and AA selected some rulers based on her knowledge of a classmate's preference (one boy got a Star Wars ruler). AA added the heart stickers (not homemade).
I am still amazed at all the ideas for crafts on Pinterest (I always chase down the originator); I don't think I will ever run out!

This is the photos from Thompson and Spring:

We did the exact same valentine. I cannot remember where I found the idea but just thought it better than candy, since everyone else was given sweets.
