Each year, we have had an Advent calendar to count down the days until Christmas. This helps us keep the Christ in Christmas and the excitement for a six year old a little more focused on the "reason for the season".
Since all our belongings are in storage, the wonderful Advent calendar that my Mom gave AA is packed far, far away! So I decided to use one of the ideas I had found in the past, one using regular envelopes. AA decorated each one with stickers, words and her "Peace" stamp. I think they turned out great! Now for this Mommy to fill them with the Bible verses, activities and surprises!
