The Birthday Pie

Dear Hubby (Daddy) asked for a cherry pie for his birthday "cake" this year. AA is good in the kitchen and with a little help she made two pie crusts! We had a quiet celebration, unfortunately, both he and myself had bad colds and couldn't seem to shake our tiredness. Not to worry, we are planning a BIG celebration next year!

Don't make the mistake I made - I stuck two wax birthday candles in the pie (without "holders") while the pie was still warm! Oops!
