Happy Halloween! 2012

AA dressed up as a tiger and a cute one she was!

Since we moved this year, we are practically next door to a retirement community called Moosehaven. Moosehaven hosted a wonderful Halloween event with many of the retirement, assisted living and nursing homes  open for trick or treating. So many adults dressed up and directed us all over the large property. All free! There was a haunted house which sounded scary enough from the outside (AA wouldn't go in) and food for sale. No cars, no traffic, all happy faces! Moosehaven has many community events (breakfasts for the public, car shows, chili cook off; next one is November 10th) so it was fun to stay close to home.

AA loves snow cones!

So many happy residents at Moosehaven:

Lots of decorated pumpkins:

Happy Halloween!

Wow! What an awesome place to go Trick or Treating! Lots of treats for the kiddos and such a treat for the seniors to see children dressed up. A win-win situation for sure!! Love this idea!
