More on our vacation to Maine..... My goal of hiking with cousin Hilary was to actually be on the Appalachian Trail in Maine, being outdoors in Maine and visiting with Hilary. We hiked the day before for two hours as a "warm up". The South Turner Mountain Trail was pretty steep for us non-hikers. It was a painful climb up the "moderate" trail but making it to the top was worth it.
