At AA's preschool, hot lunches are available for a small weekly charge. They were fairly decent, made in the church kitchen and AA enjoyed them her first year. After that, we decided to make them at home. We always have leftovers and prefer to pack fresh veggies and fruit each day. While Dear Hubby was out of town last week, I had the pleasure of being a SAHM for four days! AA and I had lots of fun and she told me I made good lunches! So here they are (not the healthiest with leftover fried chicken two days in a row!).
The lunches included a mini salad (lettuce, radishes, cucumber, carrots, cherry tomatoes and feta cheese), strawberries, cantaloup, chicken with sandwich bread and a small piece of "Chinese New Year" cake we purchased at our local Asian Market. She also takes two "thermos", one of milk and the other with water.

That's a great lunch and I love the little container.
