We have posted a few times about our Ponderosa lemon tree, which was heavily damaged in the freezing NE Florida weather experienced in 2009. I think the tree is beginning to recover. We had a woefully small crop this past year; only three lemons, when we usually have thirty!
Look at the blossoms this year! We cannot wait to have our huge, luscious lemons again!
As the blossom petals drop off, miniature lemons are appearing!
Enjoy much better black and white photos over at The Long Road to China!

As I was reading your post, the song "Lemon Tree" is going through my head. :)
You asked if Z eats her veggies... yes, she does. We're lucky that she loves her veggies and fruits. :)
Congats on getting your lemon tree back on track! I don't see too many of those down here in S. Florida. Actually with the citrus canker years ago, there really aren't too many citrus trees anywhere.
Beautiful pictures and given that we had more snow all weekend, very refreshing...
I love lemon blossoms! We used to have lots of lemon tress on our property growing up and oh how I miss them! Enjoy the bounty!!
What fun, growing lemons!
Ah...see...you give us hope!!! Lovely lemon tree. Thanks for that!
How beautiful! And exotic for us living far up north.

Beautiful photos! I can just see all the gorgeous goodies you'll concoct to make use of every luscious lemon! Lucky US!
