Flowers - Black and White Wednesday

We have several containers near our front door and they needed sprucing up. I didn't buy any poinsettias for Christmas this year, so no lovely red color for our cold months. I decided to do something different, and these pansy's were at our local garden store.
Check out all the other great black and white photos here.

I think pansies are the cutest flowers. I wish we could have flowers in the winter, only snow here.

We really need to do some winter gardening around our house and now you've given me a little inspiration!

Very pretty. A little trivia for you: Poinsettias are from Mexico. They grow wild, 4 to 5 feet high. So you could probably put them in the ground and keep them all year.

Pansys are a long way away for us yet here in Scandinavia. Loved your shots. They gave me hope of a spring coming.

Pansies are my mom's favorite flowers, so I always smile when I see them. Beautiful!

I love pansies. They remind of of little faces. The purple is so deep and lovely but in black and white? Yummy!

Have a great week-end!
